HOLLAND & HOLLAND DOUBLE RIFLE: Likely once showcased at Bashir Bagh Palace in India, this cased .500/.465 H belonged to Nawab Muhammed Moinuddin Khan. The embellished side plates feature varieties of gold (alloyed with silver, copper and platinum) enhanced by cloisonné enamel highlights that meld together to form the delicate stripe patterns on the tiger’s hide and mottling on the vegetation that does little to hide the stag’s horns.
